With Blood Bowl 3 well and truly underway, we’re going to be doing our best to get all of the player guides ready as we all start taking on the various seasons in front of us, so behold the Blood Bowl Chaos Renegades Player Builds! With the massive amount of players in this, it certainly took a while but well worth the effort!
We’ve gone through each Chaos Renegades Player and provided some different builds to suit different roles. This team has the unique trait of being able to take three Bug Guys as well, so we discuss the difference between them and what skills complement the other, seeing as they all operate fairly differently and have their own advantages and disadvantages. We’ve done our best to explain why we’ve taken certain skills and the order in which we take them as well as when to slot in secondaries and if you’re feeling patient or a particular player is flush when to consider characteristics as well. We mention whether or not it’s worth taking random skills on the player, some actually benefit from cheap skills whereas it may actually be detrimental to the more expensive players who tend to require very particular skills to function
Hopefully, these will give you some ideas and if you have your own, feel free to comment on the respective player build and your fellow readers will be able to see those too! You can of course use these in the Blood Bowl 2020 edition (or Blood Bowl Season 2 if you prefer) and of course in Blood Bowl 3 to give you a kick start to your league or ladder campaigns.

Once you’ve had a look at these Blood Bowl Chaos Renegades Player builds, you can check out the full team build guide as well on how to start your TV1000 teams. Hopefully, you find all of our guides and articles helpful, feel free to comment and provide feedback as you see fit, this is a community game so the more discussion about things the better… plus we know people enjoy pointing out things we get wrong!

Hey Aaron, the ‘full team build guide’ link redirects to the Chaos Chosen starting rosters rather than the Chaos Renegades.
While I’m here, a word on the Renegade Orc. To me he’s the dedicated baby-sitter of the Rat-Ogre and the Troll (if any) of the team. Giving him +1AV is a worthy investment as he’s going to get hit not only by the opposition but also by his ratty friend on a regular basis. Unless of course said friend gets Claw, a higher AV can help.
Thanks for letting me know, link has been fixed!
