First of all, a big thank you to all of our coaches & staff who have attended the last three Seasons of GRUMBBL, of which we’re now referring to as a “Campaign” (a word that took us literal months to come up with…)

These three seasons have been a big learning experience for the admins at GRUMBBL as we took the step from being just a group of players playing the glorious game in a single table, to a full-on Blood Bowl League with all the bits n pieces that come with it. You may be surprised to find out that in total, we’ve played 451 games (WHAT?!) since the 18th February 2019, a whole 587 days since the start. In that time we’ve crowned 5 different League champions, 3 different Cup champions and watched 33 different teams battle it out each week between our two Divisions.

It’s amazing how much we’ve grown since the comparatively tiny 6 person league that started it all way back at the beginning of 2018. It’s a testament, I think, to how great a Blood Bowl League this is and how awesome this community of players has become, all of whom have been great sports throughout, although some of you could be faster in getting your results in 😉 !

Speaking of, even though 2020 has been a colossal shit show overall, this year has been a fantastic one for the site in general. We’ve ramped up our content over the past 9 months and we’re slowly gearing up for the release of Blood Bowl 3, with team builds being added to our new tactics section as we get ready for the new edition. We really want GRUMBBL to be more than just a league (although that will always remain our top priority!) but also an easy to use resource for the future of Blood Bowl, with some awesome articles to help you guys up your game, or simply come up with cool ideas for your teams. We also hope that during this difficult time, the League has given you something to enjoy and look forward to and we’re grateful to each and every one of your for sticking around throughout this turbulent period.

Moving forward, it seems that GRUMBBL continues to grow and there’s going to be some changes made to accommodate that growth and keep the League running as smoothly as possible. Anything that affects you, the coaches, will be made apparent in the Discord channel (pay attention to the pings!) and the soon to be updated Rules page.
